Cardiff Homer

Been doing a few craft shows with some prints of Homer Vs Peter in Cardiff & Swansea City football kits, which have seemed to go down really well. So during one show, I sketched and coloured this drawing and got quite abit of interest from it. Not the best Homer as I didnt have reference, but it'll do.

World Cup Glory

Daily Drawing #163. My 1st comicstrip since April. I really need to finish all the ones I got written down. Anway, the idea here is that every man has a football or sporting story where 'they could have made it'. Most of these stories only exist in their minds, but they still believe it.

Tried a new look for the comic. I think it looks fun.

Blackburn Rovers Roar Lion Mascot

Ok, where did this come from!? My football lion needed colouring for the competition and I wanted a distinct look. I searched lion football mascots and refused to draw Chelsea. But luckily I found Blackburn Rovers Roar Mascot, and what a design! I loved his red mane and blue and white fur, so it had to be done. So started as a generic lion football character turned into a nice colourful tribute image. Ah well.

This is for the "Animals in Competitive Sports" contest at Parkablogs and I needed to finish it quickly. Wish I had time to enter another, but probably wont.

So today Man Utd beat Spurs 3-1, with Welsh wizard Ryan Giggs doing Man Utd and Wales proud with 2 goals from the penalty spot and move us closer to winning the league. Glory Glory Man United!
